The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), College of Humanities, University of Ghana is pleased to invite prospective applicants for post-graduate studies to apply for our MA/MPhil or PhD in Population Studies programmes for the 2021/2022 admissions window.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Population Studies

Applicants are required to have a good first degree with minimum of Second Class Lower Division from an accredited University.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Population Studies

Admission to the PhD in Population Studies Programme will, normally, be limited to candidates with a relevant Master’s degree.

However, candidates with a relevant good first degree from an accredited University with a minimum of Second Class, Lower Division, may apply for admission to the programme. PhD applicants should attach their Research Proposals to the application (not more than four pages).
